What is deposited for a hosted application?

Source code, configuration, deployment assets and dependency information — the material someone else would work from if you could no longer operate the application.

How often is material deposited?

At the frequency the agreement sets. Weekly is standard and daily is available. An additional deposit outside that frequency, at the beneficiary's request, costs €250.

Does a deposit prove that the material works?

No. The checksum proves that what was transferred arrived intact — nothing about completeness or whether it runs. Whether a deposit can be built and deployed is a separate test, ordered as the Certified add-on.
